Ftp and sftp (secure ftp) clients are the apps used to access web servers as most of you will know. They don’t have to do much, but that doesn’t stop application developers from missing an important feature here and there. Not so Cyberduck by David Kocher. It fully integrates into key OS X technologies such as the Keychain, Rendezvous and AppleScript, and files can be directly edited with your favorite text editor, such as SubEthaEdit, BBEdit, TextWrangler and many more. The app had some bugs through it’s relatively short development time, but they where always removed shortly after their discovery, an other big plus. Oh and if that’s not enough, the application is completely free, so give it a try and maybe it becomes your prefered ftp/sftp client as well.
