Nah, I’m not going to write a Windows Vista (previously known as Longhorn) review, don’t worry, I’m just pointing you to one. It defenitly looks good for a Windows OS, but:
Beta 1 is all about possibility and promises, and that’s OK. My only real disappointment is that it took so long to get to this point: I first saw many of these features almost two years ago and now I want more.
Hmmm, possibility and promises as usual, what I really want to see from Microsoft for once are some real innovations … or is that something money can’t buy? Do the MS people not expect more? Again from the review:
On that note, as long as Microsoft can continue to meet and, God forbid, exceed expectations in future builds, then Windows Vista is on the right path.
Now I don’t want to know those peoples expectations if all MS did till now was possibility and promises, a nice GUI and a lot of canceling of announced features, but basing on our growing market share, possibility and promises actualy isn’t enough anymore, at least for some of them. So welcome to OS X all you switchers, a place where innovation is not just possibility and promises.
