dashboard dictionary

a weblog: blogs run by twenty-something Americans with at least an unhealthy interest in computers.

That’s what you get if you search for “blog” in the official dashboard dictionary. Now I don’t think I have an unhealthy interest in computers, but that’s at least up for discussion, but I’m sure not an American. Apple is using the New Oxford American Dictionary for the dashboard dictionary entries and that’s where the problem comes from. Now I have no idea why they have chosen an American dictionary for an international product and I’m sure the entry will be changed sooner or later, but for now it’s a bad (and funny) enough example for me to blog about, unhealthy or not. ;-)
