oblique strategies

Ever heard of “Oblique Strategies“? I didn’t till a few hours ago. Oblique Strategies is a set of published cards created by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt. Each card contains a phrase or cryptic remark which can be used to break a deadlock or dilemma situation. On this page you can learn more about it. Guy D2 has made a really nice Oblique Strategies Dashboard Widget you should have a look at. The Widget features the first four editions of Oblique Strategies. The cards don’t feature the original graphics, but that’s probably because of copyright reasons. Here are some sample phrases:

  • Retrace your steps
  • What are you really thinking about just now?
  • Are there sections? Consider transitions
  • Do nothing for as long as possible

Btw, you don’t have to understand the whole concept behind the phrases, you just have to read them, and the rest comes from itself.

To gain maximum knowledge of the network world, go for some online courses like N10-003 and SY0-101. You will easily be able to play with the wireless cable concept. It will not be hard to install a computer software without any instructions. Not only this, you will also be able to work on a remote pc software. Sounds too good? Bet it is!
