iTMS is soon reaching 1 billion downloads, but a Warner Music executive has threatened to cut off Apple if Steve Jobs continues to refuse to give ground on iTunes Music Store pricing.
“What if Jobs says 39 cents or 29 cents per download - what then?,’ he said. ‘The industry can say, OK we’ll cut him off - very few people buy music from digital downloads.”
Very few people? Let’s be honest, he just wants to make more money and can’t come up with a better excuse.

These music industry execs crack me up. He tries to make it sound like Jobs is ripping them off and that it is Jobs whos is trying to change the price.
Jobs just wants to keep the pricing status-quo; it is these jokers who want to raise the prices and potentially ruin a thriving business model.
What a shame.
