Google is improving their search engine all the time. Philipp Lenssen has come up with a great list of such changes made this year, most with links to further information. For example did you know that now you can search for synonyms of words? Or that you can search for a whole range of numbers? Or what about this:
You can use the wildcard operator in phrases. This is helpful for finding song texts – let’s say you forgot a word or two, but you remember the gist, as in [”love you twice as much * oh love * *”] – and similar tasks.
Nice. If you read the comments to the article, you even find out how to get a server error message from Google, most likely not for long, so try it out now!
