Do you have songs in your iTunes library with wrong song tags? Whole albums of wrong tagged songs maybe? Than I’m sure you know how troublesome it is to manually fix them. Wouldn’t it be cool to have an app to make this task easier? There actually is one. The application comes by the name iEatBrainz written by Hannibal Lector … sorry, I mean Jay Tuley.
With iEatBrainz you can select songs from your iTunes music library with missing information for “title”, “artist” or “album”, and then use the sound of each of those songs to match with the correct information maintained in the musicbrainz.org “MusicBrainz Database”. Works pretty well actually. Of course the app wont be able to get each and every song, but it comes pretty close.
Just one small, last advice: Don’t select too many songs at once, the app doesn’t seam to like that very much.
