The “Macintel” Q & A, from EveryMac.com, makes an effort to cut through the hype and resolve the uncertainty surrounding Apple’s decision to switch to Intel-based processors. There are some good facts and tid-bits to dig through so have a look if you’re still not sure what this means to the Mac platform.
Right now it definitely looks like the software side is well prepared for the transition, but some recent Intel news make me wonder if the chips really hold what they’ve promised, especially as the latest dual-core IBM chips seam to be a not too bad alternative to them.
