Extend Firefox Contest

Posted on Friday 4 November 2005 - Popularity: unranked

The Mozilla Developer Center is calling all Firefox enthusiasts: “It’s time to submit your work for the chance to win great prizes and earn bragging rights as one of the premier Extension developers for Firefox!” If you’re good at writing Firefox extensions, then this is your chance to win some great prices:

Mozilla Corporation, with the support of Alienware and O’Reilly & Associates, has a great set of prizes in store for the contest winners. Alienware will provide Grand Prize category winners with a custom designed Alienware Aurora® 7500 Firefox Edition PC — blazing fast gear that will make you the envy of all other Mozilla developers. Best in Class winners will receive Apple iPod® Nanos, and, thanks to our good friends at O’Reilly Media, US$250 gift certicates for books at O’Reilly.com. We’re also throwing in a Firefox 1.5 Prize Pack for both sets of winners that includes a Firefox T-shirt, cap and laptop bag.

Yeah, the biggest price is not a Mac, but you know, you can always sell the price to someone else and buy something worth with the money. ;) The contest ends January 6, 2006, so you have plenty time to write your Extension.

To gain maximum knowledge of the network world, go for some online courses like N10-003 and SY0-101. You will easily be able to play with the wireless cable concept. It will not be hard to install a computer software without any instructions. Not only this, you will also be able to work on a remote pc software. Sounds too good? Bet it is!
