Flip4Mac is now free! Flip4Mac is a QuickTime component that lets you play Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) directly with the QuickTime player and it allows you to view Windows Media content with any web browser that supports QuickTime files. Even better, this is now Microsoft’s official option to play WMV files on the Mac; in other words, you can completely uninstall and delete that terrible software that came by the name “Windows Media Player”!

Flip for Mac is absolute shit. have you used the free download? it cuts off your video halfway so you’ll buy the software. They should say trial version at least so you assume it might lack features, or CUT OFF YOUR MOVIE! 5 thumbs down

I’ve tried Flip4Mac but still have problems playing .wmv files!
The QT video window appreas, but the window is white, and no video plays. Anyone have an answer?
Tried re-installing several times, but to no avail.

I suspect that’s thereason general public want to read blog….Internet visitors generally create blogs to declare themselves or their secret views. Blog grant them same matter on the monitor screen what they specifically needed,so as the above stuffs declared it.

I am glad to post my views and points in this blog, but I must say that webmaster of this blog has done a very great job to make his blog more informative and more discussable but unfortunately everthing is same here that more than 80% in this and other blogs post their comments for making spam!!!, so i will really all this spam links to google band tool, because webmaster makes blogs for making discuss and for sloving each other problems. thanks http://www.gordoniihoodia.net

People just don’t like to write comments, they like to read posts therefore there is no need to fake posts. Everything goes okay with quicktime player. But the file formats downloaded through youtbue have a different file format which is not supported by quicktime. In that case an FLV player works. I guess, quicktime developers should keep this in mind and come up with an update for the new file format.

QuickTime can play any file format now. It feels good to hear that but I hope the developers have also kept in mind the quality of sound. Because it’s not always the file format that matters but sound quality too.
